Dead End Relationship
Me and my boyfriend 28yrs old have been in a relationship since 9 years now. We moved to a foreign country and has been living together since the past 4 years. I feel like we are reaching no where in our relationship. He still haven't told his parents about me. They still think I'm just a friend. He comes from a orthodox family. Every time my parents broach the topic of marriage he will ask for a month and so and then something would happen and then we drop the plan. He is also battling with depression. I feel like he'll never mustee the courage to inform his family and proceed with the wedding. I love him so much and will never be able to love another man but now every moment with him hurts seeing how he is not willing to fight for me.
Because of his depression he keeps losing his jobs all the time. So he's struggling with stability and it doesn't feel good to force him for a wedding but everytime he gave me hope and shattered it. Now I can't even sleep, all I can think of is how stuck im in my life
@LostSoul1009 I'm sorry that you're feeling lost and stuck. I can see how much you love your boyfriend, and how much it hurts you to think that he is not willing to fight for you.
Living with a partner dealing with depression and having a hard time to keep a job can be incredibly challenging. And I can only imagine how painful it is to have your dreams and hopes of getting married shattered every time.
