Did something I really regret
Good night everyone. Hope everyone is keeping well during these times.
I'd like to share what I thought was something terrible I did to my girlfriend of 5 years and seek your advice on what I should do.
I recently went by a girl I was friends with for a long time. We were hanging out on her bed and one thing led to another and I started fondling her. We stopped before it went any further and I left right after but I feel just awful about it. I haven't told my girlfriend because I know it would devastate her and me as well.
I'm not the type that would do something like this nor would I like it to happen to me. I just feel really lost right now and would appreciate any advice.

@sleepyNinja94 It speaks well of you that you feel so bad about it. Should you tell her? I don't know. Don't tell her just to eridicate your guilt. It does not seem like you would do something like that again. Everyone makes mistakes and whether you should tell her I guess depends on why you tell her and what effect you think it would have on your relationship. You obviiously care a lot for your long term girlfriend and don't want to damage your relationship. Would you want to know if the situation were reversed? That's something to consider too. And how would you react and how would it affect you? Just a few things to consider.
