Feeling empty and lost ..

The day after Christmas .. my boyfriend and I decided to be just friends for now bc we had to figure some things out. I regret this so much bc I still want him. And selfishly. I hope he still wants and misses me too. I fell so deeply in love with him and he said he fell in love with me too. But last time we spoke he said hes just unsure about everything and everyone in his life rn. Which hurts a lot. I love him more than anything and I just want things to go back to normal. Please help
