Forbidden Love

Hi! I need an advice real bad.

I'm in a psychiatric hospital, and I fell in love with a nurse there. I've been in love with him for months. One day he told me he's in love with me and I told him that I too, and we kissed. We REALLY love each other. The problem-it's forbidden. We both know this can't last because it's not ethical or allowed, but every time we try to let go of each other we just keep getting sad and kiss or hug again in a room with no cameras or just be with each other.

I'll get discharged soon, and I know we won't be able to keep in touch. But what should I do?? I love him so much, and I know for sure he feels the same way. How am I supposed to deal with this??

Thanks for listening, lemme know what you think :)

@mayaby01

I think you need to tell someone . Your doctor or therapist. These are complex emotions when you are already in a vulnerable position. I know that is not the answer you want. I am sure you feel a gr at desk for him and him for you. However, it is forbidden for a reason and this can become very complicated. I strongly urge you to ask for help with this

First, thanks for answering. It means a lot to me :)

I can't tell the staff there because if I do they'll make him lose his job or worse... I love him so much and that's the last thing I wanna do to him... it's so horrible that I can't tell a therapist but it's even worse for me to ruin his life like that... I'm gonna get away with everything while he's the only one who'll get punished for that.

@mayaby01

Perhaps for now tell someone without revealing his name. This is something that could affect your recovery and needs to be talked about. He is the one that is doing something wrong here. I hope you do understand that. Can I ask how old you are?

@energeticDime8483

Yeah sure, 18 (no worries he's young)

Problem is, they almost for sure know it's him because I talked to my therapist a lot about him... for months

Yeah I know he's the wrong one here. But he's not gonna be a part of my therapy once I'm out of the hospital. I'm gonna have a completely different treatment with new people... I'm gonna have no connection with the hospital...

@mayaby01

Please still seek help with these complex emotions. If you want to protect him you can refuse to give his name
