Frustrated
Hi I'm Abdulla, married at 18, father at 20 and divorced at 22. I'm 24 now and I can't seem to keep a relationship for longer than a few months since the divorce. I've always ended the relationship the moment things get a bit frustrating or difficult, this is something my dad used to always do, leaving home for a few months was his solution to every problem. And through therapy I've realised that I may be doing the same, so I tried to suck it up with the girl I'm dating now. But it's difficult and frustrating, I've been feeling neglected and unappreciated, not at all prioritised, with this constant voice in the back of my head telling me to end the relationship before she ends it. Though she's been really nice and didn't really hint at wanting to end the relationship, but, I have been very low on the priority list after family, friends, herself and then me. I barely see her, maybe for an hour or two every few weeks, according to her she's tired or in a bad mood, yet her friends get to see her, go out with her and it seems like the tiredness, moodiness, and the excuses are reserved for me.
I keep telling myself that I want to end the relationship, but the we just talk, about normal things and I give up on that plan. I did talk to her about how I'm feeling, but she always has an excuse. I feel like I've been taken for granted and it's frustrating. I'm having overwhelming thoughts all day long about ending t. I gave it time this time, and I'm worried I'd just be ending the relationship because that's what I always do.
@AboodBufaris Maybe your not fully ready for a relationship it takes a lot of compromise
