Heartbreak
this is the first post in a long time in which I’m actually wanting feedback.
So what I’m wanting to know is, what are some things you’ve had to do in order to get through heartbreak? I feel like I’ve been heartbroken for months because there was no closure (which wasn’t my choice), and will be no closure. I have cried too many times to count. I have gone through the rainbow of emotions and mood swings. I even had a kind of rebound. And I’m still heart broken. I’m asking out of desperation. I also don’t have hate toward this other person. I don’t have anger, and I’m pretty sure I’ve forgiven them. It’s hard to say. My emotions are back and forth. But I want peace for me, and forgiveness toward them.
This is really hard for me to ask. Please be kind. I don’t like comments in the tone of “he didn’t deserve you” etc. Just looking for support and advice.
Thank you.
@TheJenInBlack. i think it takes time to move fully on from someone
Hi dear. Coping with heartbreak is never easy, and depending on the case, it can take a long time to move on. It becomes even more difficult when a closure is not received, but unfortunately in some cases it is not possible to have it nor can we expect it, the truth is that no one owes us an explanation. Probably not having closure makes things more complicated for you, perhaps you are trying to make sense of everything that has happened. The reasons don't matter as much as the fact that this person doesn't want to be in a relationship. They are not available and we have to get over it, recognizing our worth, saving our time and energy for someone who will show up for us. What I can tell you is not to be in a hurry and to be patient with yourself. What you are dealing with is the loss of someone important, it is no small thing. Remember that you can connect with a listener at any time if you need it, take care!
Hey
There's always a time when we hav had enough lemon juice out of a lemon, and then the empty lemon peel must be thrown away.
It can be applied to all sorts of things. When things have served their purpose, when relationships end due to some reason, when they have served their purpose for us, when all the juice is used, upto the last drop, we should throw the peel.
But, a lot of people, most of the times, don't do that. And, some of us have a really hard time doing that. Why?
Because we like that lemon luice so much, that we can't get over the fact that there's no more in that lemon.
It feels sad. It feels like we are arrogant and selfish at times. It feels we are helpless and hopeless at other times. But, I feel like, most importantly, we become scared of getting new lemons or oranges or anything else. We become scared of wasting money on the next lemon. We feel sorry for ourselves for having a craving, for having a taste. Don't belittle yourself.
I want to say to you that value yourself. I feel like you do, but truly. I fee like you like enjoying life, experiencing every part of the rainbow, but, now it's time for the sun to shine for a while now. Isn't it!?
I hope you have happy lunches and better dinners. Stay hydrated. 🔆

We all know that breakups hurt. And people have different coping mechanisms with breakup. There's no particular universal way of getting over someone. What works for one,may not work for others. Some people try to move on by engaging themselves and distracting themselves with other stuffs while others may just choose to stay with the same schedule. It's true that it hurts more when we've got nothing on our mind but it's also true that it can keep our mind occupied even if we have other things to do. Time can heal but it can also come up with its own challenges.
It's important for you not to run away from it. Experience it. Cry it out. Let all the emotions come out. It's a phase. And we've to go through this in all its essence to come out stronger than ever which is when we will get over it!
I went through something incredibly similar. I can't give you much advice, because to be honest, it's been over a year and I still haven't entirely let go of them, but I can offer you support that this will gradually hurt less and less. Life goes on. You will survive this, just as you've survived everything else, as cliche as it sounds. Please believe me. I love you.
