How can I move on from my first love?

Im 19, female, and in college. The guy i was with is the same age and at the same college but on a different course. Hes an international student.

It all started over 2 months ago, I meet the guy at a night club and it all moved rather fast and we were seeing each other within 2 weeks. Then we started dating but then he broke it off saying he just wanted to be friends and work from there. I was completely heartbroken by this but he gave me a small bit of hope so i thought we would get back together. Then we became friends with benefits/ causal, but that didnt work out for either of us as i wanted more but he couldnt do a relationship/do casual so we ended it. But we stayed in really close contact and this week we meet up for a day out which was amazing. In the evening he admitted he was in love with me but just couldnt do a realtionship right now however much he wished he could, and he felt so much pain in giving us up but i wasnt what he needed in his life right now. So we decided to cut contact from each other, its been 3 days and im just finding it so so difficult to deal with because i loved him and we use to talk everyday and its like a massive part of my life is missing. How do I move on from him, my first love?
