How to tell him I want to move out
I have been in a relationship with my bf for over two years. I sold my house, quit my job and moved two hours away from my family to live and be with him. He is now a totally different person than a year ago. He tells me I talk to much, my family doesn’t want me to come see them. I have lost all connections with my friends cause he thinks they are all liars. He has gotten me to a place I don’t even know myself. I love him and had hoped he would change but have finally realized he never will. I ready to move out. I work an hour away and have been looking for a place but can’t find any thing. I have a gf I can room with but hate to be a bother. My biggest issue is how to tell him I want to leave. I don’t know if he will be mean or just ok with it. Any suggestions would help.

I can hear the distress in your words. You have given up so much for this relationship and it sounds like you are just at the end of your rope. I think you are really smart to be working on finding other housing before telling him so that you have a plan in place first. Your happiness and well-being matter, but having a plan is key to making this happen smoothly.
In terms of telling him, I would definitely consider your safety first. You didn't mention that he was threatening or physical, but I would just think about his reaction and if that might be an issue to also consider.
Wanting to be less isolated from family and friends are valid and important reasons and I would feel the same. But since he doesn't like you to have those connections, he will probably not be happy to hear that.
So honestly, I would think through your options: move and then tell him or tell him and then move? Think about what would be best for you and getting this done with the least amount of stress and resistance.
Sending you positive vibes for strength, clarity and peace ❤️
