Hurting
It's been a week since he ended our relationship because he cannot balance his studies and our relationship, it already sink in to me that we're over. But I'm still hurt, because I understand his situation but he still chose to end us. I really love him, he's the love of my life to be honest. He taught me how to love and trust again but with what happened, I'm afraid that I can't open myself to anyone else again just like how I opened my heart to him. I'm afraid of the fact that in the end, they'll not gonna choose me.
It's going to be fine.
I know, it's just that I'm still hurt about it.

A week can go by quickly when happy and in love or incredibly slow when you're heartbroken so I hope you can be patient with your healing from the breakup in regard to that. It sounds like you really care about him deeply, love him deeply, and it hurts to be apart even if he gave his reasons. It's natural to doubt if you'll ever meet someone who you connect with as well or think about how you may experience anything equally painful in the future. You seem like a very loving person though and as much as that can be incredibly painful in life, it also shows strength to be capable of so much love.
