I am tired

I have this best friend of mine for the last year. We share every little moment with each other. I have been in love with her for some time but didnt tell her because she was in relationship. Now 2 months after her breakup i told her about my feelings and was almost certain she will say yes but she said it will ruin everything and i just love the way we are. Also she said she is not in love with me but its something more than friendship. Recently we got physical also and when we talked about some things, she said its not a great idea to be in a relationship and we ll get stuck. She says she doesnt love me but at the dame time she agrees that its more than best friends and she says things like she wants to grow with me, she wants to be knight in shining armor, she wants me to understand her and us also etc. Now what should i do, is she confused? Or she is afraif? Or she doesnt love me? Should i wait? Please help
