I think I

A little background information:

I am currently in my first serious relationship. He is divorced from a very bad marriage and a little cautious because of it. I tend to feel emotions VERY deeply. I also have some pretty deep self esteem issues, and Im an over thinker.

We love each other. We tell each other that all the time. However, sometimes I worry that I scare him by loving him too hard. I dont really know if its just how our personalities differ, or if I really do feel deeper for him than he does for me. I try to remind myself that he was in a loveless marriage before he met me...so maybe showing affection is just something that has to grow on him again. And as time has gone on he has gotten more affectionate, but still sometimes I worry Im going to make him uncomfortable.

Honestly I dont even know what Im asking for here, I guess just someone to talk to about it. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.

@Glammag It's okay to feel cautious (the both of you). You don't know what the future may hold, but it may help to remember that everything comes to an end. Whether it's this particular period of adjustment or death, etc. everything comes to an end. So enjoying it for what this is, in the moment, might help alleviate your anxiety.

I'm glad you've found some happiness. :)

@Glammag if you look to hard you might start seeing things that are not real. Take it easy, live love and laugh! Be happy and contented, even if they are both new feelings, they deserve to be enjoyed!!!
