Little Brother
I am the eldest of five children. This means that I am tasked with babysitting since my parents both have day jobs now. My little 10 year old brother is a nightmare. Not saying that because I'm a stuck up moody teenager, that's not me. I was raised to think before I act. I have tried everything. Asking nicely, demanding, pulling rank, threatening, and lecturing. Nothing works. He doesn't care, he doesn't listen to our parents either. I just don't know what to do! I feel like he's the child who will become the Antichrist. And I'm scared. It wasn't this bad at first, but now, for five years, he has been a selfish brat and jerk to everybody and he has lost our trust.
@SparklyBunnyCats Have you asked your parents on how to handle him?? I would think at ten years old he would be going through puberty or just a lot of changes at that age, not entirely sure I took a child development class so i think at that age its common to go through some changes.
@SparklyBunnyCats What are his favorite hobbies? For me, my little sister likes playing games and so if she does act up I offer her to play games or help her criticize her editing which she spends a lot of her time on. Sometimes ignoring them is the best way, I leave her alone to do her editing but if the hobby is what they can't do, say being online, offer an alternative. If my sister doesn't have access to edit online we usually have a drawing contest.
