Lonely Life
Hi there! I've never been in a relationship since birth.
All my life, I've been either rejected or fooled. Anyway, it's not that important anymore ssince I've already moved on and I'm always optimistic about it. Whenever I got rejected, I always tell myself like "meh, there are a lot of girls out there" or something like "it's her choice, I must respect it". But of course, it hurts a lot haha
I've made up my mind to just focus on my job and let things flow the way it should be. But I never realized that I'd fall for my officemate.
We've talked for months and all seems well. I really don't want to overdo it so I took it slowly.
One day, she told me that she also likes me but there's a problem. Religion. She's a muslim, I'm Catholic.
It really doesn't matter for me about the religion, I mean, we all have our own beliefs and I can respect that. But the fact that it restricts us from doing a "normal" thing, that's a little unfair.
My life isn't that bad, it's actually great. But the feeling of loneliness, or the feeling of wanting someone or something but you cannot get it is really frustrating and sad.
I'm sorry for a confusing story. I just want to share something but I don't know how to really tell it haha
Thanks to anyone who will read this confusing story :D
It sounds like her mind is made up, but just know this really isn't your fault. I know it's painful but many people base everything in their life around religion and it sounds like she genuinely believes she has no option to date you.
You deserve love. I hope you find someone perfect for you soon.
@Topsy
Yeah I thought so too.. What really makes me sad is, why does she chose to ignore me COMPLETELY rather than just talk to me. I can even accept personal messages or email. It's just sad that I'm feeling left alone or the thought of she left me hanging. Anyway, I'm not angry or something haha :)
Thanks for your time in reading and advising :)
