Mixed Signals

The guy I've been seeing has been giving me some mixed signals lately.

We started talking on Tinder in July. Finally met in October which also happened to be the same week his grandpa died. Everything was going well. He was texting me a lot. He would even come see me on his lunch breaks occasionally. We have spent the night at each others houses. He would talk about trips that he wanted us to take in the future. He asked me to go to his work Christmas party and then it got canceled. I had surgery at the end of November after staying at his house. He texted me everyday and even called me to see how I was feeling and when I could hang out again. Then he kind of went radio silent for about a week. Then he told me that he wasnt trying to ignore me and that work had been crazy and he just had been feeling kind of blah. We made plans to see each other, but he came down with the flu. He got pretty quiet again. Then he told me on the Friday before Christmas that he had gotten me a Christmas present. Then the Monday before Christmas he apologized and said that with his grandpa dying and working under new management at work has been a really crazy spiral.

Not sure what to think??
