This year after my 10th I joined a new school for my 11th. I had a relationship last year that only lasted 4 months but it left me really bad I started hating myself, so there was this girl that helped me through it, she had feelings for me (according to her friends) and towards the end of our friendship, I felt connected with her I decided to ask her out, she rejected for some reason and I was at peace with that, so 10th ended and I started my 11th classes, now during my computer class I met this girl, let's say her name is N, so I dont know for some reason I started finding this girl interesting, I literally didn't know anything about her at that point, and in a way I think she resembled this other girl that helped me through the breakup, I don't really know about that coz I haven't seen this N girl in person that much, so okay I find her *** with the help of my friend and I messaged her in the pretext of asking for notes, so she sent me the notes and I started texting her daily for about 3 days just normal stuff and I asked her to be friends and she said yes, now she started asking me indirectly about my intentions as she knew I had a crush on her or something, so I don't know what happened but I just bit the bullet and told her I like her, she said she'll think about it and the next day she told me a clear no, I dont know but I was expecting a yes from a complete stranger for some reason, and yeah I was rejected, so she started avoiding me and ignoring my normal messages from that day on, I kept on begging and kept on proposing her over and over again and she would just say no and no again, now one day I called her over voice and that's the first time we've ever talked other than chatting, I did all the talking she was actually not interested at first and somehow I also got her talking towards the end of the call, she became friendly with me and everything was well for a few days, even though I kept on proposing her in different ways and she kept saying no she felt more connected with me, now during that time I just asked for no reason that whether she will miss me if I go now, and she said yes a lil, now towards the first she was that cold with me and at that point she really was like a friend, and one day I kept on venting and kept on saying how much I love which I really do but she just thinks it was like all the boys are the same which I dont think is true, so I kept on saying some stuff I dont' really remember and at the end of the day she said let's see and told me to be her bf for one day and I did the day, she said at the end that it was like any other day, and that ended, the next day I did some messaging and I think I guilted her coz she just went mad and told me to just stop loving her that intensly or leave.. I told I would be just a friend and now she's not like how she used to be, today I asked her if she's being a friend just to  be nice she told me 'yes maybe'... and today when I asked her if I was weird she said yes, yk she literally avoids all my texts and I keep on messaging like a buffoon, I wasn't like this and would never fight to keep someone in my life like this.. What do I do now, do I keep begging for a friendship that she doesn't want but it makes me happy because there is a little chance she might turn out to be my friend at last or do I let go and how do I do that without hurting myself..?

I know that it's hard and you seem like a lovely person who has alot to offer.

But you need to let this girl go.

You cannot ever beg someone for a friendship or anything else.

It has to come naturally.

Its important not to become so intense and to not constantly message someone to change their mind.

You need to work on what makes you happy first and let friendships build slowly, organically and with both people putting in the same energy 💜😊

I am glad to say that today I finally said it. She told my friend all about the things and even showed him our chats. Now he's upset because I didn't tell him I asked out the girl he also likes. So I lost a good friend because of her and it's my fault too. I begged her a hundred times to not tell anybody but she did it for her fun. I told her how she doesn't respect others feelings and everything is a joke for her, I feel so good letting it all out. I also told her I regret crossing paths with her ever and that I regret falling for her. I don't know if what I did and said was right but I am happy for once I am happy after a long time and at this point I want only that. I have a lot more troubles in me but this is one cleared. I hope to move on from her soon. Thanks for the reply by the way :)

I can see how much this is weighing on you, and it’s clear you truly care. But from what you’ve shared, she has been clear about not wanting a relationship, and even friendship seems forced. The healthiest step is to give her space and focus on yourself, your growth, your studies, and people who genuinely value your presence. Letting go is hard, but it opens the door to healthier connections where you don’t have to fight to be wanted.
