Not sure if I'm overthinking

So I am with a man who's in prison, we met on POF and it didn't start as a relationship, but it has come into that, but other people he knows have told me different things and there's times where we talk non stop then barely talk, he tells me he loves me and calls me his wife but when we barely speak idk what to think and I'm not sure what to do...
