Problems
My boyfriend and I have been together for 10 years. We have a son together now. Our past is rocky, my fault, but since our son everything was doing better. Now he removes his relationship status off his profile, is constantly searching other girls on social media, and adding them. If I say anything, he turns it around to how I hurt him and nothing I say matters. I understand I hurt him, but he forgave me and we moved on. He's using our past as a free past to do whatever he wants. Idk..
But not because of your past (whatever it is) he gets the right to cheat on you… you have to say next, honey, because he manipulates you with your past, (as you exactly said, a free pass) even though you guys have a son in common! Stay strong, and look for emergency help if he gets aggresive with you in front of your son.
It's a form of manipulation. And I'm sorry you are going through that. It's a very awful position to be in. From my experience a person who isn't doing right will dig up ANYTHING to justify their behavior. This is not your fault do not own it. Sweetie pie you are not responsible for anyone's choices. No matter what you did. JESUS CHRIST doesn't forgive us and then say "sike" . Neither should we. Be firm with him but not attack him. Set some healthy boundaries so you don't have to feel this way. Sending lots of love your way

It sounds as if you're trying to move forward and he keeps bringing up past events that you've apologized for. I can imagine that would make you feel frustrated and stuck as to how you should handle what he's doing. Do you guys go to therapy? It might be helpful to have a middle person present who can mediate between these kinds of conversations. Otherwise, it sounds like it might be difficult to move forward in all of this. Best of luck!
@plantmama16 I can understand that being an upsetting situation. I don't think it is fair for him to hold anything over you like that and use it as an excuse to treat you poorly. What kind of ways have you tried to increase your communications?
