Questioning.......
I am 3-years out of a narcissistic relationship/1-month marriage after he walked out on me.
I am a female & I'll explain in my story why this is important. I have recently been reflecting over all my previous relationships with men. They all have ended in different ways, but they have all had a 5-year 'shelf life'. I have always had this tiny little pull that I was interested in woman, but I kept ignoring it & pushing it away. After this last experience with my narcissistic ex, I have been leaning more into the fact that MAYBE these past male relationships ending the same timeframe WERE somehow the sign I needed that the relationship I craved could have a feminine touch to it & how I should somehow lean more into that.
This is all in a memoir I am currently writing. Especially how when I look at my interests between men & woman- With the men, it was all about "performance" & personality. When I look towards a woman, my first instinct is her looks, right down to her hair colour I liked.
I have only revealed all this to a select few friends & trying to figure out how to tell my parents, OR, I can just wait until my book reveals it all- I'm just not entirely sure when that would be because things keep getting delayed............... Advice & guidance is greatly appreciated 🥰🌈💬

Well congratulations on making relationships last 5 years.. most have trouble doing even that.
Since you haven't been with a woman yet there's really no way to know if you could get past 5 years with them.
Good luck with your book. 🌲
I appreciate you saying that @AsherTree but as I see it now, it was 5 years of me being naive & believing that he would change, but it only got worse, especially since he was then my emergency contact in a medical crisis & he was nowhere to be found.
Yes, I know & agree, but I feel like my life thus far has been giving me subtle hints that I have been ignoring to at least try to be with a woman--- maybe not, but, I'm not doing much better being on my own.....
@Adri89
Whatever you do will be the right thing..
Exploring your options is a good idea, good luck!🌲
