Recently divorced & dealing with anxiety

It's been 3 months since I got divorced from my wife and moved back home with family. I've never really talked much about how I've felt after it all. My anxiety isn't so bad, but I'm still coping with it. We were together for 5 years and wasn't married long. The relationship was like any other typical relationship, had good and bad days. But there was also a lot of verbal and mental abuse and sometimes physical abuse. Manipulation. I've always been asked why I didn't get out sooner when everyone else seen the red flags that I was clearly blind to.

to be honest, I don't miss her, I don't want her back. Nothing like that. Since I been away from her I've been working on finding myself and loving myself again and that's still really hard. Also trying to break these habits I would do while I was with her and still feeling like I have to walk on eggshells around people to not make them mad or yell at me or anything.
I guess I haven't really talked about it cuz I don't really know how to really put the words together but I did my best here idk ..

What you had wasn't typical relationship anymore when you mentioned all those abuse and manipulation. It's already become a toxic relationship so it's a given that you don't miss her and don't want her back because it's for the better. It's good that you are working and finding yourself again. Since it's hard, the mental damage must've been great.

You're welcome to request for a Listener if you need to talk about it. It might help you.
