Roommate
My boyfriend’s roommate blames his own problems on me and lashes out at me yelling profanities. He has tried to break us up and has given my boyfriend a her or me ultimatum. My boyfriend defends me and supports me, but I am so uncomfortable around his roommate. How do I get closer to my boyfriend and keep a distance from his roommate? Is it fair for me to be uncomfortable with my boyfriend spending time with his roommate?
@purpleApple8799 it's totally understandable how you feel! i've been in such a situation when my boyfriend and his ex friends were very close and it was making me uncomfortable, because they didn't like our relationship and tried to break us up, as well. my boyfriend managed to slowly see the signs by himself after i started explaining to him how i see it, as he was influenced by them a little bit. i believe this could happen with your boyfriend too.. it's just important to communicate your feelings and talk about such things <3
My boyfriend definitely see it. He’s said that he would spend time with them if they weren’t roommates. But since he has to live with the guy he feels like he can’t spend less time with him without starting a fight
