She gave me an ultimatum
I've been in a long distance relationship for 2 years, and we fight often over not being able to talk much as we are both busy and going to different schools. We used to be deeply in love, and never thought we would break up. She recently told me that she thinks we should break up, and not date anyone, and just wait for each other until we are done with school. I don't want to lose her. But I don't know how to stop this. I had contact with her, but she has been very distant from me, and has not been responding much. She says she loves me, and would wait for me, and not date anyone else. But I don't know how to live without her in the mean time. I'm freaking out
I can understand this you're freaking out over this @Trentund. Its always hard when you are the one receiving an ultimatum like this .. and takes time to get to accept the reality of what it means.And you know distance relationshis are hard to maintain over a long time and you both sound very busy with your respective schools. Suggest you give your self time to adjust to this... likley there will be a missing of her and the connection and sadness for the loss of this at this point... but sounds like there could still be a future. But for now a time to focus on school and support from friends around you mayhelp, and talking 1-1 with a listener here is also an option for you. All the best.
