Teen relationships

Not to be demeaning or something.. Does anyone else feel that most of today's teens exaggerate and overdo relationships? When they could be happy with a lot of things and supposedly be doing constructive things, a lot of them are using the name of love or relationship to remain under the shade of depression. Am I making sense?
