Too soon?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over 2 years now. I'm 20 and in college and hes 21 and lives by himself and has a job.
I love him a lot. We have one of those relationships where it sneaks up on you because you were best friends first then grew closer and closer until you couldn't stay away.
Being with him has its ups and downs. More ups than downs. But theres this one thing that I cant help but feel mad about everytime he mentions it. Thats marriage and kids.
I want to get married and I want to start a family and I cant imagine anyone else I'd do it with. But he wants to get married right when I graduate college. That's about 2 years fromlow, by then we would have been dating for 4 years. That seems like a normal amount of time, but I cant help but feel like it's not long enough.
I want to wait longer. My idea is to be able to graduate, get a job and move out on my own. He wants us to be married by that time. I dont know why but I feel like I just dont want that. Even though I for sure do.
He has also mentioned the idea of marrying me and having kids with me since we basically started dating. Which Is really fast for someone. Especially someone like me who hasn't had a real relationship before him.
Am I crazy for wanting to push it back further and further? I cant help but feel like he will get frustrated with me if I do that. Is this just commitment anxiety, if that's a thing.
I hope I get over this.

I think you are right, but I just don't see any point in fighting over that now. Just say that you can't think about that while you are at college, and refuse to discuss it until then.
There is every chance that between now and then you will both change and mature, and both your views may have altered. Also, at the moment particularly, it's difficult to look that far ahead, the world may be a VERY different place.
