Trouble being alone
Does anyone have trouble being alone? Whenever I am single I really struggle with anxiety if I am not getting male attention. Like I need men to validate me. I have everything going for me, I live in a vibrant city, never have trouble finding men, have an incredible job I love, great family and friends, my own house etc.
I know my worth and am single through choice waiting for the right guy but I cant help but go back to dating out of desperation to find a man to fulfil me when in reality I want to feel fulfilled without one. I know I have abandonment issues and deep rooted feelings of unworthiness which I know feeds into this. I just want to be happy and have faith that the right man will come into my life at the right time. I'm sick of worrying my life away but I am in my early thirties and with a lot of friends settled down or in relationships its hard no to worry I am being left behind or it might not happen for me. My anxieties come out and make me think the worst. I know I am not alone in this.

Allie,
you know this but being in a relationship does not determine your worth as a woman. i struggled with this for years and its normal to have insecurities from not having the kind of validation you want. one way i have found is by turning this around and saying to yourself "the reason i want this validation is because i KNOW how awesome i am and i want someone else to experience it".
@AllieAllura Why is this 'Buddhist self-prohibition axiomatic approach' existing only in a particular relationship with the romantic dimension of your life, which according to your statement, should lead to self-fulfillment? Why do you want to be fulfilled without a man? I mean, it's clear you don't extend it further ... why would not you seek a fulfillment anxiety-free life without your friends or the confines of your family?
@danielioan I get what you're saying and thats a very interesting way of thinking about it. I guess because I have those friends and family for life and don't have to live without them. I don't want to latch onto a man just to feel comforted. If I met the right man thats a different story but until then I do want to feel free without one so I am not finding one for the wrong reasons.
@AllieAllura
Judging from the quality of men commonplace, being alone might be preferable.
Boy, you urgently need to meet someone to get rid of this terrible feeling of loneliness. In our time, this will not be difficult at all - after all, there are social networks, all sorts of chats where you can chat with beautiful girls and just have a good time. Yes, and dating sites do not bypass the side, suddenly somewhere out there your destiny awaits you! I even have a lonely grandfather found a grandmother for dating https://date-granny.com/ , can you imagine? And now they often go on dates together, he is not at home at all.
