Trying to forgive and move on
I recently found out my boyfriend did something completely out of my boundaries simply because he was upset me, we sat down and talked about the whole thing and he is genuinely sorry for what he did and he is trying to work towards never letting that happen again but at times I catch myself spiraling about if I can trust me or not. I need help on trying to forgive and move past it or just any advice in general would be a great help.
I'm in a similar situation. It's really hard.
@Kadence123 Hey Kadence, I hear that you are having a tough time moving on from his mistake, which I completely understand. Whatever he did, it was something out of your comfort zone, so if you truly want to forgive him, give it more time. But at the end of the day, you are the master at your own life, you know your situation the best, so you should ask yourself why is it so hard to forgive him? What is the future for you and him look like? Is forgiving him truly what you want? And if it is, what can you ask from him to do so?
