What do I do?

It's a cliche long story...

The thing is am new to a city and am alone. Not lonely.. Alone.

Am in college and in the first year I was so silent I wouldn't even open my mouth let alone get up from my seat

And like that i got a friend and eventually he became super possess and I started becoming uncomfortable.

He was a person who would only talk to me and no one else and I didn't like that he wouldn't talk to anyone else.

Since I was uncomfortable for a very long time I started to withdraw from him and I completely did.

But now am alone but am happy with how I am. There are some unspoken issues with other girls in my class so I can't just hang with them. It's like there is no issue but there is this awkward wierd tension. Moreover we get alone with people who are in our wavelength right.. Unfortunately I haven't found even a single person mainly because am taking time to adjust. Which am okay with.

The thing is am okay with being alone but what annoys me is that am becoming like him. Which I absolutely don't want to.

So everytime am alone I keeeo hating myself.

I know it's rude of me.

But how do I stop this thought.. ?

@Itsdelicaretedrose Hello, thanks for sharing your story. You just need to do some other activities to entertain yourself, maybe you could try doing a sport, or maybe a club (I don't know if you have those). Not being talkative it's difficult, I know since I am one of them, however you can meet people who enjoy the same stuff as you, you only need to find them. Maybe not in your college but other places, maybe even here. Also you need to evaluate yourself, how was your friend and how are you now? What's the same, what's different. Change is always acceptable and if it's good for you, even better.
