Hello everyone, I am a boy who really would like some of your advice since I am a little lost about it, I tell you the story.

Well, I have a friend who met her a while ago (3 months to be specific) and when I met her for the first time, she was the girlfriend of the brother of an ex-mine, she was a girl who to summarize the story one day her partner got angry with her and left never to return, when inquiring into that part of the hidtoria it is that they were both to blame, since the end one missed an important date but she apologized and was able to compensate him while her boyfriend only for a Anger left because of a nuisance (and has been like this for almost 8 months without going back to her to at least explain the situation)

Well, what I'm going to is that 2 weeks ago I started to feel something for this friend and I told her, since I trust her and she did not accept me but she said that you will take it into account, after a week she began to act strange , he spoke to me in a cold or dry way (they are not the correct words but it is the closest thing to that description), So intrigued after telling her what was going on, she explained to me that she felt confused even though it has been a long time since her boyfriend left, she follows him lovingly (although well her words were that she needed time and that she was confused, those words were her best friend who had shared the situation) so here I come with my story, sorry if it does not reach me and explain well at certain points or does not understand the narrative an apology.

My question is what can I do or what do you recommend I should do? Keep talking to him? Leave it for a while?

update: While I was writing she just sent me a message and now you talk to me normally, no longer in that cutting way now kind and good

@CKN788 Unfortunately, it sounds like she told you she still likes her ex and is not ready, so I think you have to accept that. Maybe focus on meeting some new people and new friends. Maybe you will meet someone new you like even more. Maybe she will decide she is more ready at another time, but there are also many great other people to connect with who are more ready for a relationship.

from done I have already seen her better I have seen her more interactive, more open and also more willing, so it goes little by little I would like to at least be able to touch the subject so that she can overcome that rupture but I do not know how I could help her in this regard

@CKN788 I think you need to respect that she is not ready and may not be interested in being more than friends. She has to decide on her own if she is interested or not; you shouldn't be trying to "convince" or "help" her with that.
