Lonely during pandemic..
I’m so lonely. I’ve only had online friends during the pandemic. I just wanna go on a camping trip/road trip/youth type thing with some other people my age. I’m so lonely. The online friends are great but they’re all from different countries/regions in my country so I can’t even visit them. I just want a real life friend to go to malls with and spend time with. I’m so lonely. I don’t know what to do.
Hello. I'm so sorry you are lonely. Online friends are great but you feel the need to also connect with someone in the offline world and do together activities that you like. I think you could start to check if you know about people of your age with the same interests than you, even if you never talked to them before. And try to approach them, being honest and open hearted, and start a conversation. You could also search for local groups (online or not) related to your interests and hobbies so you could do them together. If in your daily life if you see the same people every day (school, bus, coffee shop, etc) you also can start by complimenting them and after a while engage in a conversation with them. Thanks for the reply. The only people I see (nearly) everyday are my classmates. We don’t really have the same interests/hobbies and don’t really interact except for when we do group activities.. I’ll try to check around my area for groups but I think a lot of them are closed because pandemic ahh. Thanks though I’ll try to talk to my classmates a bit more
