Need help or something. Crush on a friend.

So about for or five years ago I used to be really close friends with this one guy, we were both younger then. Middle school age maybe. We also live fairly close to each other and have sort of kept in touch since then. This year we are older high school students. I reconnected with him and we became close friends again. And we hang out a lot.

But I think I have a crush on him too. I don't know what to do about it. And am scared that if I do decide to do something our close friendship will be ruined. What should I do?

I think he notices I have a crush but I am too embarresed to really admit to it. Ahhhh.
