As I am writing this, I am thinking about a friendship that died and has turned scary. It has effect my work life since 2015 but in more recent months turned into something that is bringing me anxiety and lowering myself esteem. I have had a lot of trouble with people in my life. People who bullied me, or teased me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. I don't understand why I have had to deal with so many people this way. I suppose it would help if I had thicker skin.
I just want to be a decent Christian guy who has some good friendship connections. But instead I feel like I keep getting thrown into the garbage can. Too many times I feel drained from wondering what is wrong with me. I pray about my worries and end up picking them right back up again.
Today is my last day at work. Next I need to do some job hunting. I really wish God would just take the fear and frustration away from me. Heal my hurting heart.

I think I agree with you when I say this: God gives us wisdom and guidance. I think that is the point you are trying to make to me.
I must respectfully disagree with your view of the word of God having multiple meanings. I may know somethings that you don't. Did you know that Hebrew and Greek manuscripts don't have chapter numbers and verse numbers in them? They were added to the English translation to make it easier to find things and memorize them. I find that when I read scripture in context, it only has one meaning. That is the meaning that it implies in context. Once you figure out what it means in context, and in some cases the way the people understood it when they originally heard it. Then you know what and how to apply it to yourself. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His word doesn't change. But if you disagree with my view on this. I still love you! 😍
When people say that God's word has multiple meanings, it gives them an excuse to start a cult. We don't like it when that happens! The closer you stay to the Bible the safer you are.
