My Every Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the start of a whole brand new day to do with as I choose. Help me to use it productively and in service of You. Keep me in a positive, grateful, and loving state of mind. On this day, let me employ honesty with myself and all others, as well as open-mindedness. Prevent me from being selfish or self-destructive and show me how to best be of use. Enable me to use my time and resources well. Remind me to pray, center myself and meditate on your word throughout the day. If distress or depression arises, give me the response needed and help me to reach out to you before doing anything else. Thank You for what I will do, see and hear today and who I will interact with. The rest of the day, may I operate in Your Will, amen.
