Questionable Christian
Hey all. So I grew up around the pentacostal church - not my immediate family but aunts and uncles on my mother side. We grew up just attending a non-denom church. So I’ve seen a lot of dynamics of the church.
i recently have been feeling a tug to move closer to my faith BUT im struggling with a lot of its ways and teachings. For example, I DO NOT believe that a woman should be barefoot and pregnant supporting her husband - I believe it’s equal share. I also support gays and lesbians and the whole alphabet. I just feel like there are outdated standards from the Bible that no long apply (or should apply) to today.
But I still want that relationship with God. But I just don’t know where to start.

Well you are going to have to dig deep and decide what you want to believe, I guess.. Everybody has different views and you can't always just go along with what others think. I really believe the Bible is a guide and I just don't think everything is written in stone.. Some take the Bible literally.. You ultimately have to choose your path and we support you here..🌲
