Tonight's Prayer

God, thank you for once again calling me back to you and inspiring me to change my habits. Thank you for never completely letting me go. Forgive me for going astray so many times. Forgive me for being stubborn and resisting your sway. Forgive me for my continuous sins, like not taking care of my body. Forgive me for not exerting myself in life and trying to accomplish more. God, help me to not only change but change wholeheartedly. Help me to reach the end of myself and only care about your purpose for my life. Please show me what that purpose is. Root out and forgive my selfishness. Help me to give myself fully to you. Teach me to praise and give you glory with my whole being. Keep me from thinking too highly of myself or abandoning your ways. Protect my walk that I may stay on your path. Forgive my laziness and busy me with your work. Protect me from distraction and keep me fully focused on you. Amen
