Site motives and moral viewpoints

I just fail to see what this has to do with our role as active listeners, but if we do decide that this is support as opposed to promotion then please could we have the same rules applied to the many suggestions we have had on religious based chats for those that wish to take part @EmmaV

I am sorry to see that this account was deleted because you have really raised an interesting point here and I am always open for these types of discussions. I presume that I was tagged after because of my post on this thread. I feel the need to state that what I say in posts on forum and around the website is mostly my personal opinion, and does not represent the views of 7cupsoftea (for more info on our rights and obligations as listeners I ask you to check Terms of Services). So, if you are interested in my personal opinion, here goes.

Although I am all for freedom of speech and against censoring, especially on the Adult part of the website, I have to admit that I try to make suggestions here that are not always in alignment with my ideological attitudes, but more efficiency oriented. Having that in mind, when making a decision or changing something here, be it a new discussion, a completely new chatroom or a forum post, I like to think in terms whether such thing can be moderated and if it will have more positive or negative consequences on our community morale.

So, to keep it simple: My personal opinion on religion, lgbt movement or any other social phenomena has really little to do with what I say here, and what I say here is only a reflection of my goal to make this as safe place as it can be. I make mistakes, and I am sure that you also do, and if anything I've said or done has insulted anyone or made someone feel isolated I apologize for it, please message me and we can try to sort it out and I will personally apologize.

I dont get why I m here. Did I offend anyone? Did I support "any movement"? No I didn't. I spoke my mind and when I was asked to explain I did explain.

BUT my posts were erased. For what? For speaking my mind? So a liberalperson who probably promotes LGBT movement forfaits me of my right of free speech? And I am apprehened here for it? Where is the liberty in that?

I fail to understand what you mean. In the 1st sentence you say that you don't support the promotion of none ,which is perfectly understandable and ok, but then on the alst sentence you say you support the LGBT movement? I m kinda confused there, I think I misunderstood. Please explain.

Also I never EVER brought religion into any of this, so if this accusation(If it is a viable accusation lol) is directed to me I think you are wrong. And also if I understand correct did you jsut say that holding religious discussions on the forums/chatrooms are at least illadvised? If thats the case then you are pretty one sided here I ahve to say.

Okay I'm actually so confused. While a lot of listeners know where I stand I have been away from the site for a little while so I don't actually know what this person is talking about. If it is in relation to the 'got any christians?' forum, I did not create that but rather try keep it calm. It's a shame this person left, we could have talked about it as it seems they have a problem particularly with me, hmm

Allow me to explain. I am in full support of you Emma and Taxis. The site was deleting my posts I would understand this if they were offensive and I do not wish to cause hurt to anyone. However the reason why was not explained to me. I feel that the site has double standards. We are allowed atheistic AMA posts which go along the lines of 'God is a man in the sky invented so that those who are uneducated and unable to cope with everyday life would not be afraid' yet forum posts which discuss concern and not condemnation over LGBTQ lifestyles (not sexuality)and the potential harm that they may cause are cited as homophobic. So I know this is a controversial issue and feel that it would be more appropriate if the site either allowed within reason a greater measure of free speech or moderated both types of discussion equally.
