The person I feel safest with...
why do they make you feel safe
how do they make you feel safe
and what does feeling safe mean to you?
(and if it someone on here, you don't need to name names, but please share and tell us a story of how 7Cups has helped you feel safer in your mental space, life, etc!)
For me, it's my husband. I feel like I can be exactly who I am with him, and I don't have to hide the way I feel on bad days. Feeling safe is trusting you will not be judged, and you will not be rejected. He gives me emotional safety, and I don't have to worry about putting on an act or pretending to be anyone I am not.
Okay, your turn!

I've never even met your hubbo and I like him.
Good catch, my friend often comments how unsafe she feels around her spouse at times with the way he aggressively takes risks with his personal safety to get a quick rush. I mean I'm all for the thrill of bungee jumping, just don't see the need to bungee jump into a shark tank is all. (kidding, but I'm sure he'd try it if he could)
For me, its one of my soccer teammates. My family and I arent exactly on the best terms, and my teammate has helped me so much in the past few weeks. For the first time in a while, she made me feel genuinely happy. It didnt last too long, but it was something, and Im grateful to have someone as golden as her
For me, it's my dad. He's strong but gentle, and I know he'll protect me no matter what happens. My mom is a lovely person as well, but we have a very strained relationship and I don't feel like I can be myself around her or let my guard down without being questioned or judged (even though I know it's because she cares). With my dad I feel completely at ease and I don't feel guilty or like I have something to hide. He makes me feel sheltered and loved.
My partner. No matter what, I know he will not judge me or criticize me, and he will always forgive and love my shortcomings. I can and have told him everything, and he has been kind enough to understand every single thing and strong enough to push me when Im stuck or scared. My leaps of faith have always paid off with him.
my bed is always there for me when i go out or when i return home. it doesnt move, doesnt move away when i cry, when i get furious and punch it, etc.. plus i can snuggle and sleep in it for as long as i can, without the bed shouting "OY MOVE IT"
sorry, i dont really have someone to rely on physically

Buddy and Freyja. Always have my back, always there for me, never a question of how they feel toward me, never would think of being anything but myself around them. Feeling safe to me means no worry at all. Complete and utter trust
