Hi all,
I just signed up here and did the test to be a listener. But I don't know how this place works. Where are the instructions? this thing keeps on popping up saying general request and it's too quick to click on. Where am I supposed to go? Then I suddenly got a personal request which I must've clicked on quickly and suddenly I find myself talking to someone. I was dropped in the deep end basically.Where is the age group choice?
Hey, Caroline! First of all, welcome! :) The general chats that you see popping up are general requests for chats that any listener can take. They do tend to disappear really quickly, so you need to be alert when you want to take one :) A personal request is when someone goes to your profile directly and requests a chat with you. You can set your profile to "busy" or "offline" if you don't want to get personal requests. As for the age group, you can only connect with guests/member that are over the age of 18. Hope that helps!
Hola,Caroline!Bienvenida.You can't change your age group on your own. For now you are a listener to those "Over 18" because I suppose you are 18 orover. If you are younger than that you can send a message to the community and get changed to teens but if you are over 18 as it shows that means you can become an adult +teen listener at some point, if you want, by fulfilling the requirements shown here. Now, the general chats go really fast so you have to be a bit fast on that and private requests are being responded to at your own pace since no one can grab them from you except the member/guest cancels it.
