Animal Therepy Evidence?
Good afternoon I am new to the group and not feeling 100% confident to discuss my symptoms yet but what I can say is i have great difficulty to leaving the house and as such I have looked into getting pygmy goats to encourage myself to leave the house and battle my depression and anxiety. Only problem is the landlord needs evidence from someone qualified to back my claim that animal therepy would help my treatment, does anyone know anyone whom can help me?
@AaronAnderson Hi there. Welcome to our lovely community! Thank you for reaching out. From my own experience, animal therapy is very real and a valid option for anxiety or depression. I am sure that a mental health professional or center might be able to help you with this by writing a letter to your landlord. @AaronAnderson Have you tried getting a doctors note to show that you are qualified for an emotional support animal, due to your disability? I'd say that's the first step you need to take.
