Finding Your Way Around 7 Cups? [Summary]

There are many new volunteers joining the listener community on a regular basis. These new volunteers may be overwhelmed by the numerous sections on the site. Here is a brief summary of the various menu sections listed on the site:

Path

- My Progress Path > See the steps that you have taken as a listener; it displays the progress which you have made on the site

- My Impact > this section displays what particular contributions you have made on the site, including the number of people which you have helped, your compassion hearts earned, etc.

- Training & Certifications > in this section, you will be able to access training guides on a variety of different training topics, where you can acquire more knowledge, which will assist you as a listener. In addition, there are various certifications which you can attain, based on the progress you have made on the site

- Mentors > this page will allow you to access a list of mentors on the site, who are experienced volunteers who have opted to mentor and support listeners experiencing a variety of issues, and to offer help and assistance to volunteers

- Self-Help Guides > these self-help guides can be accessed by listeners and members alike, and are based on a variety of topics, in order to provide information and knowledge on certain subject areas and issues

Chat

- My Conversations > in this section, you will be able to see your chat conversations with guests, members, and fellow

volunteers and staff members on the site. Conversations remain available in this section to be viewed

- General Requests > in this section, one may access guests' and members' chat requests, in order to take chats

- Browse Listeners > in this section, one may browse for certain listeners, based on different search criteria

- Group Support Chat > in this section, one may access the group chat-rooms such as the Listener Hangout Room, the
Listener Support Room, and the member group chat-rooms

- Chat with an Online Therapist and Find a Therapist Near You > online therapy is available to clients on the site, at a cost. The therapist listing page can be accessed here

Community

- In this section, one may access the forum sub-communities and support forums, based on a variety of topics

Organizations

- In this section, one may see the varied programs which 7 Cups offers, to affiliate with schools, workplaces, and non-profit

donate to 7 Cups on a monthly basis
