Just go to the very bottom of the page and it says 'To deactivate your account click here'

If you click on settings - where you change profile picture and password it is in quie small print at yhe bottom of the page. Sorry you are leaving please take care of you and best of luck for your future

Seems like you found it after all.
There is no button to delete your account forever. Just to deactivate it so that if you change your mind you can always re-log in and have everything like you left it.
