Just a question ...

I've only joined here today because I was told about a lady who would be able to help me with trauma issues and ptsd. I've had problems with how to find this person because of simply not knowing how to do things properly yet

While I'm finding my way round I've been pressing connect now and then choosing ptsd as an option. However I keep getting answered by people who don't have experience in the topic. When I said this to one listener they immediately said they would the the badge for it posted and within 4 minutes the badge appeared. It was nice in one way because they obviously tried to do something to help but I felt it must have been rushed through. I'm not being ungrateful in regards to this its just I would feel more comfortable with an experienced listener due to my issues. The last listener who I just spoke to promptly said the topic didn't show and blocked me straight away! I said nothing wrong to them and wasn't rude in any way but it made me feel like crap. Why is there the option to choose a topic if listeners don't take notice of it? I could understand if there is a delay in the option showing up but I had been waiting a long time (which I'm not complaining about) so surely it would have been visible?
