Why can't I change my DP?

I joined yesterday and I tried to change my DP on my account and realized I couldn't. Is there anyway for members to change their DP? :(

Hey there, unfortunately members can't change their display picture, the letter and color is based on the username you chose for yourself! It is this way to make sure everyone stays anonymous and feels safe.

Oh I see, okay then. I just thought it would be nice to change my picture instead of an X but thanks for telling me >_<

Sorry about that, I know it doesn't change things too much, but if there's a different letter you'd prefer, you could emailcommunity@7cups.com to change your member name.
