how do you end a conversation?

@oldal I usually try to say something along these lines "Are you feeling a bit better now?" or "Did it feel good to get it off of your chest?". And then when they agree, I tell them how great that is, and let them know I am glad to be of help. And then I ask them to get back to me, maybe mentioning some aspect of our conversation, like "get back to me after you talk to her on Monday", or "let me know what happened". And I ask them to keep in touch. They often reply saying thanks for listening, and I express my gratitude too. And then I guess I say Bye. It helps if you break the conversation gradually and once you have an inkling they are feeling better or have more/less become more confident to take a decision, and then asking them to keep you in the loop or contacting you again in case they want to share. :)

Hope this helped.

@jabberwocky6 Oh I am sorry, i thought you were a listener. In case you are a member, you could approach it similarly you know. Gradually and asking the listener if they will be available next time you wanna talk. :) In case you're asking for how to 'end conversation' like there is a button on the top right hand of the chat window, which is for that.
