I am having a hard time figuring out why I’m so scared to tell the truth and be honest with people. I know I have a lying problem but I can’t seem to fix it any suggestions or do I lack self love?

@cjhybil1 I'm not 100% sure, but it seems to me that you're afraid because you're afraid of losing these people, of being rejected by them. Those who tell the truth are often unpleasant to us. If your communication is aimed at being liked, accepted, then it's problematic. It's easier to lie, but remain "one of us". This also comes from a lack of self-love and low self-esteem. Therefore, accept that your words are your words and you have the right to speak as you see fit. And if a person gets offended, and you haven't said anything rude or offensive, then it's probably more his problem. Correctness is important, but it shouldn't muffle your personality. Good luck!
