Is it weird that I am super sensitive?

I am a super sensitive person. I cry over little things like when someone shouts on me, usesa different tone while talking to me, while arguing with some, while watching emotional scenes, when I am pushing myself. I shut myself after an argument because I am not able process the heated environment around me. This is really making my life ***.... I don't know how I will handle things later when things are really bad

@orangeFig6054

Hey, Fig

I for one don't believe being sensitive is a weird trait, in fact, being sensitive is not just about being emotional; it can be a huge asset that adds value to relationships, creativity, and personal growth.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to experience the world and its conflicts at 102%. Emotions can be incredibly intense when you're sensitive to your environment, and it sounds like you're taking on a lot—especially when you feel others' reactions so deeply, whether it's the tone someone uses or the stress you feel from an argument.

It’s important to acknowledge that you're processing emotions in a way that’s really genuine, but that can also be exhausting if you're not equipped with tools to help manage it.

Have you ever had a chance to explore ways to protect or support your emotional well-being when you're in these situations? Sometimes, learning ways to ground yourself in heated moments, like deep breathing or taking a step back, can offer some relief. If you're willing, we can explore together some ways to handle things when they feel overwhelming. What do you think?

@twerp Thanks for your reply. I have tried many things but the emotions and feelings always take the priority. I want to be calm that time and understand the person's pov but it's so tough for me.
