Just Ranting
Hi,I'm new here well interestingly new to this chat and the adult world. I think i'll be fine though,in the adult world because my mentality is way older than my age lol. Anyways I find it hard talking about this seeing as I'm not used to sharing my thoughts. I struggle with accepting myself just as I am,I don't know but I guess it's because of the way society is. I continously compare myself to others and I don't believe that I'm worthy of love sometimes. I do everything I can to please people, especially my mom.I 'm so scared that with everything I do I think of what she would think if she saw me.I don't know why she has not physically told me about her expectations but somehow I feel it? I try accepting myself and dealing with my problems alone but it's not working out.I'm scared of everyone around me leaving me because they'll finally see that I'm not worth it. Anyeays that's it for today bye👋
@reservedbutterfly Hello! First of all, welcome to this community and the adult world! It's great that you're approaching things with a positive mindset.
It's perfectly okay to find it challenging to share your thoughts, especially on such personal matters. Your feelings about self-acceptance and the fear of not being worthy of love are valid concerns that many people can relate to.
Comparing yourself to others and trying to meet expectations, especially those perceived rather than explicitly communicated, can be incredibly tough. Remember that you are unique, and your worth isn't determined by external standards.
It's a big step to reach out and share these feelings, and I appreciate your courage. You don't have to face these challenges alone. Seeking support is a strength, not a weakness. Your well-being matters, and I'm here to listen and offer support whenever you're ready to talk. Take care, and feel free to reach out whenever you need. Bye for now! 👋
