Usually, the attributes we admire in others, exist, at least as potential within ourselves. This is true because the mind doesn't have scope to recognize the good in others unless those things are relatable to one's self.  For example, a person who lacks empathy, won't see it in another. Instead, they're likely to view expressions of empathy as attempts to manipulate.

So, looking for the good in others helps us to learn about ourselves.

I'd suggest that you're introspective or self-reflective. Otherwise, what you think about yourself wouldn't matter to you.

We're complex, and getting to know ourselves is a lifetime process. We're always changing, so our self-concept needs to keep catching up.

An important part of self-knowledge is to understand our intentions. If your intentions are positive, it's a safe bet that you're a good person.

Then there are personality characteristics. Are you an introvert or outgoing?  How patient are you? Are you focused on heart connections, or do you prefer admiring crowds?

Hey, looks like an really uncomfortable feeling..

Can you say more about it?

You don't know what to think because of your judgements towards yourself? Or because you feel lost to define yourself? Or maybe because you just would like to know yourself better?
