lol Yeah I have low self-esteem. I will work on it though because I know it’s not good to compare myself to others. I don’t know if it because of my illness or not. If anyone has any tips, I’m open to trying it out.

Hi buddy
I also have low self esteem due to abuse issues, here are some technique I found really constructive on;
*self love letters.
Tell yourself: you are special, you are wise, you are strong, you are smart and you are talented. Accept your flaws and take a moment to show that you believe in yourself.
Here are some sentence I like to use;
I love myself because …
I am special because …
I respect myself for…
I admire myself for…
I forgive myself …
…
The positive affirmations we write to ourselves can restore our faith in the true us. Remind yourself that you are enough and whatever you are going through on the day. Let go of your own limiting beliefs, accept yourself as you are and don’t forget to R-E-S-P-E-C-T yourself.

* look inside the mirror and tell ourselves that we, despite everything we are moving forward and improving ourselves, and it takes time, we should be patient and gentle with ourselves like we do to our friends.

I hope you found those tips helpful. And please remember that, even if throughout our lives people we loved and cares most deeply upon have labed us and told us that we don't, those things does not say how we really think you are. You are brilliant and beloved. Please take time for yourself, love. 💙
