Mirrors
When I was middle school, there was a point in time where I didn’t look myself in the eye in a mirror for a full month. It’s been years since I’ve felt that way, and I’ve obviously grown as a person since age 13. However, recently, I’ve been struggling with looking at my bare face unless it’s to cover it up.(it makes my stomach churn) I feel like I’ve reverted back to when I was a preteen, struggling with my self worth and identity… what can I do ? Like genuinely?? I can’t even go outside without makeup?? I feel guilty for the people who witness me???
@naturalShoulder7044 Hii! Please don’t feel guilty first of all please 🥹. Go out bare face , don’t think about what others think. Love yourself more . If you want to talk I’m here to listen
I felt like that about the mirror thing. Before I focused on all my flaws and what I didn't like, now I try to concentrate on my highlights.
If you want to go out in makeup, go ahead, I find that a fun way to express myself. Painting nails was interesting too. As was glitter..
I just day by day, practised spinning the negativity into positivity...
Sometimes when I broke out in pimples.... Oh I'm not a fan of my face.. But I'm working to clear it up..
Oh I hate my over plucked my brows.... Well, I could fill them in..
