Self Esteem

I used to think I was ugly and I had the worst self esteem when I was younger because people told me I was ugly look wise. With my mega short white hair and my goofy smile. Then I thought maybe adding some piercings would make me look pretty. Its not about looks, and its not about what you wear. What is important is how I saw myself and who I wanted to be. I might not be pretty but I have a caring heart, friendly, sweet personality. I don't care if others think I am ugly or pretty. I came to realize that even if my outward looks aren't to the standards of what people call " pretty", My personality, my heart, how I treat others is just pure kindness. I love myself because my looks might not be the standard of beauty now a days but my heart and kindness are lovely. I love myself now, just as I am. So find your beauty!!! Hugs🤗

Hello,
You are beautiful inside and out.
Yes beauty has nothing to do with looks. A pretty face only lasts so long. The souls is what makes a person beautiful. The kindness in your heart. The empathy they have for others. Or maybe even just the laughter they can generate. Looking into someones eyes will always tell us of someone’s heart.
I appreciate this post because i used to feel the same way. As you get older you start to realize it’s the little quirks we consider flaws that people often find our greatest assets!
