Should I return it or keep it?

I am 19, My self esteem has been really bad since the start and it kept on worsening. I don't know why but if you will tell me to select an outfit for going outside it will probably take me an hour, I keep changing it again and again and again until I end up wearing the worst outfit ever. My mother never really liked my fashion choices, she always thinks it's bad, whenever I buy something without asking her she never approves of it and this makes me feel so bad. So Today I had ordered an ethnic suit for a festival but I took her permission and already while ordering it and she said you can order it but when I actually received it today she said that the fabric is not good and when I told her the price she told me that are you mad, to get this quality under this price and mind you the price is not too much. It has been trending recently and my friend also wore it in college so I also wanted to wear it since a long time. After listening to her, I calmed myself down a bit and I told her that I like it and I want to keep it and then she said I hate it, It's not worth the money plus I know you will not wear it more than once like other outfits in your closet. After this she said if you still wanna wear it, go for it. Then she drops " your best friend must have worn this, that's why you want this right" And I got overwhelmed and I said yes she did but that doesn't mean that anything she wears I can't wear it next. Everything is not copying. I said this because in the past also she has said things like this that you copy your best friend, you don't have an opinion of yours but I stayed quite. After I said that she said don't talk to me, you are making me frustrated and do whatever you want. Do you really think I would keep the outfit after listening to all these things and now It make me question my choices even more
